Imagine if you and your closest friends decided to buy a piece of land together in a picturesque corner of the United States, with dreams of building cozy farmhouse-style vacation homes.
Well, that’s exactly what four couples, who had been friends for two decades, decided to do. They all shared a common desire to live closer to nature, away from the hustle and bustle of their primary residences.
This endeavor gave birth to a tiny community known as “Tiny Haven,” and it was affectionately referred to as “Farmhouse Oasis” by its residents.
These visionary homeowners were committed to making their houses not only charming but also environmentally friendly. Our tiny homes are thoughtfully designed to reflect the classic farmhouse aesthetic. Each home features a gabled roof, crisp white siding, and charming front porches adorned with rocking chairs and hanging flower baskets. The exteriors showcase a variety of neutral gray tones to give a modern feel.
A large, plush gray sleeper sofa in earthy tones dominates the living area, providing ample seating for relaxation and socializing. A wooden coffee table sits at the center of the room, adorned with books and a fresh planter. A well-placed area rug with muted patterns defines the space, anchoring it with a touch of classic farmhouse style.
Moving to the sleeping area, you’ll find a serene and comfortable space designed for rest and relaxation. The bedroom is separated from the living room by a beautiful sliding barn door, providing privacy when needed.
Inside the bedroom, a plush queen-sized bed with a modern frame takes center stage, adorned with crisp white linens and a soft quilt. Soft, sheer curtains hang from the windows, allowing natural light to filter in while maintaining privacy.
On either side of the bed, antique nightstands with vintage lamps offer a cozy glow for bedtime reading. The walls are adorned with framed artwork of the surrounding nature.
Inspired by the rising trend of tiny homes, each farmhouse covered approximately 500 square feet of well-utilized space. These houses were self-contained and featured a porch, a compact kitchenette, a cozy bedroom, and a stylish bathroom.
However, what made this village truly unique was its sense of community. Nestled among the private cabins was a spacious common area, covering 1,500 square feet. Here, residents and their guests could come together to create cherished memories. This communal space included a comfortable living room, a gourmet kitchen, a charming dining room, and a welcoming guest bedroom.
For one of the homeowners, Pam Owens, living by the river on Farmhouse Oasis was like stepping into a real-life fairy tale. She once remarked that it felt like a “Disney movie.” In the end, it turned out that Walt Disney was onto something when he said that dreams could indeed come true.
