‘Law & Order: SVU’ alum Kelli Giddish announces son’s birth and reveals his charming name

Law & Order SVU’s Kelli Giddish has welcomed her third child, a baby boy!

The actress, who starred as Amanda Rollins for more than a decade on Law & Order: SVU, shared the exciting news with fans Thursday.
“My husband and I welcomed Oldie Richards on June 20th and we are so in love and so very grateful,” she wrote alongside a black and white photo of herself, her husband Beau Richards, and Oldie, their first child together.

“Oldie — you’ve brought immeasurable JOY to me and your daddy and your two brothers (and your grandparents and aunts and uncles!). You wake up smiling and the light you bring to each moment is truly incredible.”
Her pregnancy coincided with her character’s pregnancy on the police procedural, and while loyal fans must wait a bit longer to learn about Amanda Rollins’ baby, many are delighted for Giddish.

“What a little cutie! Congratulations 😍 I love that all three pregnancies were written into SVU too – A very sweet way to immortalize those special moments in your life 😍” a fan pointed out.

“He is absolutely adorable! Congratulations to you and your family! 🩵 wishing you and your family nothing but love and happiness. Thank you for sharing,” one fan wrote.

“He’s beautiful, what a precious photo of you three. ❤️” another person commented.

Giddish also has two older sons, Ludo, 7, and Charlie, 4, whom she shares with ex-husband Lawrence Faulborn.
